Why YA, you wonder?
I think teenagers, in particular, teenage girls are remarkable, fantastic, powerful creatures. I write to inspire young women to recognize their worth, strength, and uniqueness.
I hope my words resonate with our shared female experience. If my stories help one struggling girl navigate her tumultuous but beautiful life, I'll consider my writing a success.

"In Ashley's debut YA romance, a superpowered teenage girl finds friendship and love while investigating long-buried family secrets. Jade is a relatable, inspiring protagonist who's insecure, self-critical, and even self-sabotaging but also funny, resilient, open-hearted, and courageously honest with herself. A vibrant and heartfelt coming-of-age story. It will grab readers from the first page and make them eager to know what happens."
